Meet Our Trainer - Victor Say
Victor has worked in the financial markets for more than 40 years. He started his career at Bank of America in 1983 as a trainer in foreign exchange, financial futures and options. He became a dealer with Citibank, Bankers Trust and HSBC & subsequently left to be Treasury Manager at Nationsbank where he managed the banks' treasury operations. He left treasury to pursue a career in private banking with HSBC as senior vice president. Victor graduated with a Masters in Economics from the University of Manitoba.
Victor retired in 2017 from Informa Global Markets but rejoined in Feb 2024 as a Senior FX & Interest Rate Analyst. He used to teach the FX module in the ACI-SMU financial Markets Certificate course and was adjunct lecturer for the SMU-UOB Diploma in Private Banking Programme covering the FX, Commodities and Risk Management modules. He currently teaches the Skill Futures Fundamentals of Foreign Exchange Trading, Hedging & Risk Management Course.
